1. Doubleclick on the MillerBIller3 Installer. The Installer will lead you through the installation process. It installs the application into the application folder.
When you first start Miller Biller3, you will be asked to create a new datafile. Be sure to choose a location that you have permissions to write and read the data. If you are the administraor, then the applications folder where MillerBiller3 is installed is fine. However if you are not the administrator of your computer, you will need to create the data file in your home folder.
2. For a new installation you can start as a "Terminal" or as a "Host". A "Host" application is for all doctors of the practice. A "Terminal" application is for one doctor who wishes to work away from the host but synchronise the data between host and terminal from time to time.
3. You will be required to fill in the registration information that will result in the creation of a "Request Request" xml file. You send this file into MillerBiller to purchase your "registration key". Once you have this "registration key", you can start your program, and click the button that reads " import Registration Key".
4. The next step is to Log on. The default log on user name is "Administrator" with no password. You can change this or assign the "Practice Manager" the duty of assigning logins and access privileges. Notice that the version number of MillerBiller3 is displayed on the logon window.
